Who we are
We are a small team of makers and builders who spend our evenings surrounded by cones of wool, primary cloth and half-carved samples. ChR - TuftStudio grew out of our own workshop mess: sticky notes on the frame, client sizes in three different chats, and prices guessed at midnight. We built the tool we kept wishing existed.
Our mission
To give independent tufting artists a calm, focused place to run custom work — one that respects the real process. Not another generic task list, but a workspace shaped around mirrored sketches, scale, pile depth, curing time and the stubborn arithmetic of materials and hours.
What it gives you
Every order becomes one clear card: client, size, deadline, palette and stage. Artwork gets a maker-first canvas built for the way tufting actually happens. Privacy policy
Your studio is yours. All of it.
ChR - TuftStudio is built on a simple promise: the app does not collect, store or transmit any of your information. Everything you create lives on your own device — and nowhere else.

This Privacy Policy explains how ChR - TuftStudio (“the app”, “we”, “our”) handles information when you use it. The short version: we do not gather anything about you. There are no accounts, no servers of ours behind the app, and no hidden data collection. The longer version follows below, section by section.
Information We Collect
We collect nothing. ChR - TuftStudio does not ask you to register, sign in, or create a profile. We do not request or receive your name, email address, phone number, postal address, payment details, device identifiers, advertising IDs, contact list, precise or approximate location, or usage analytics of any kind.
Everything you type into the app — client names and order notes, rug dimensions, deadlines, colour palettes, production stage updates, material and labor costs, deposits, final prices and margins, sketches and reference photos you attach to a project — is written directly to the storage area of your own device. None of it reaches us, because there is nothing on our side listening for it.
How We Use Information
Since no information is collected, there is nothing for us to use. We do not read, index, profile, analyse, aggregate, monetise, rent, sell or share your project data. We do not build advertising audiences from it and we do not use it to train any model.
All processing happens on-device and only to make the app work: rendering your canvas, sorting orders by deadline, advancing a rug through its production stages, and calculating cost, deposit and margin figures. Those calculations run locally and disappear from memory when you close the app.
Data Storage
Your studio data is stored locally, inside the app's private storage on your device, in the sandbox provided by your operating system. We operate no cloud database, no synchronisation service and no remote backup for the app's content.
Because storage is local, your projects are only as available as the device holding them. If you use ChR - TuftStudio on two devices, each one keeps its own separate set of orders — the app does not copy anything between them.
Third-Party Services
ChR - TuftStudio does not embed third-party analytics platforms, crash-reporting pipelines, advertising networks, attribution SDKs, social media plug-ins, cookies or tracking pixels. No external service is handed your rug sizes, client details, palettes or pricing.
The app does not contain in-app advertising, and it does not quietly contact remote endpoints in the background to report what you are doing.
Data Security
The strongest protection we can offer is structural: data that is never transmitted cannot be intercepted, and data we never receive cannot be exposed in a breach on our side. Your work stays within the protections your operating system already applies to app storage, including device-level encryption and passcode or biometric locks where you have enabled them.
We recommend keeping your device software current and using a screen lock, since physical access to an unlocked device is the realistic risk for locally stored studio records.
Children's Privacy
ChR - TuftStudio is intended for makers running or learning craft work, but it does not collect personal information from anyone at all — and that includes children under 13. There is no registration flow, no messaging, no user-generated content shared with others and no data transmission, so nothing personal can be gathered from a young user.
This approach is consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and comparable rules elsewhere. If you believe a child's information has somehow been shared with us, please write to us and we will confirm and remove anything received.
Your Control
You are the only administrator of your studio data. You can add, edit, archive or delete any order, palette, sketch or price record from inside the app at any moment, without asking us and without a review process.
To remove everything at once, simply uninstall ChR - TuftStudio: deleting the app removes its local storage and the projects held inside it. Because we keep no accounts and no cloud backups, this deletion is permanent and irreversible — export or photograph anything you want to keep before uninstalling.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy if the app gains new functionality or if legal requirements change. When we do, the updated text will replace this one and the Effective Date at the top will change to reflect the revision.
Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this page. Continuing to use ChR - TuftStudio after an update means you accept the revised policy, and we will always keep the same core commitment: no collection, no tracking, no transmission.
